Due to tax and ethics problems Charlie Rangel is on the verge of losing his Ways and Means gavel by choice or by force, permanently or temporarily, it seems he forgot to tell the IRS about a couple hundred thousand dollars he made on the sale of some real estate. Create images of Charlie Rangel working in a new career.
On the last day of February, I saw a bunch of robins hanging out in the back yard. Made me really want some warm weather. And in March occurs a thing called March Madness, 65 NCAA teams compete in a single-elimination basketball tournament. So with this contest, let's create images where basketball is featured as in the theme image.
Well, the Winter Olympics are nearing a close. With that comes a closing ceremony where we'll see a nice recap of the games. Personally, I enjoyed watching curling, speed skating, aerial skiing, and the Canadian women's ice hockey team smoking cigars and drinking Molson after their gold-winning performance. For this contest, create images of sports figures celebrating with smoking or drinking.
Thursday is our salute to the art world. We usually just add some famous face to art but not this time. We are asking you to take someone out of a famous work of art and put them in a totally modern setting as in the theme picture.
While channel surfing today, I came across an advertisement for a new movie that will be at a theater near me on March 26th called Hot Tub Time Machine. It looked like your typical time travel movie only dumberer but, it did appeal to me on a couple levels, I would really enjoy a relaxing soak in a hot tub about now and if I could go back in time to when I could afford to buy a freaking hot tub that would be even better. For today's contest, use a hot tub in an image from a time in the distant past and since this is traditionally the day we have the Tinseltown Tuesday contest, if you could include the face of a famous Hollywood celebrity that would be most excellent.
