Hi, I am a raw rookie with CS4  and am looking to learn from people on this site. Some of the work stuns me, I cant at this point even comprehend it. Anyways, always feel free to give me advice.  Thanks

Hey avesher! Welcome and all that stuff. I guess the question I would start with is what are you trying to do with CS4? The art of photoshopping has a lot of avenues/methods/techniques. I would imagine most of the members here learned on the fly and entered images and got feedback from comments from other members (here and other similar sites).

Welcome Avesher!
Dang, there are a lot of ways to change skin color.
Here is a tutorial from Howard at Ice Flow that is  sort of basic

http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-change-skin-tone-photoshop-215933/

Photoshop program methods are generally complex. Some of the cheaper programs like ARCSoft Photo Expression or Photo Impact or Photo Explosion have a one or two click option to change skin color. So it is always handy to have some of the smaller programs  for the fast change stuff. You can always go in with photoshop a bit later to detal and highlight with the airbrush or various brushes.
