You look great!!!  What a change, huh?  Mine certainly wasn't long enough to donate (go you!) but I know what a big change it is to go from long to short short.  I'm growing mine back out actually.  Too much maintanece for me keeping it short.  You look fabulous JR!!

WOW!! I am impressed! I have donated twice and am growing out again for LofL but have never had more than 12".

And I really like your new cut. Smiley

Thanks! Ya...I have to admit. The short hair is really high maintenence. And I'm in the frezers a lot at work. Took me a bit to get used to the neck freezing. Now I don't notice at all. I'm gonna grow it out again after this work season. That way it'll be long enough to put in a ponytail for work next summer. I'll leave it grow for 4 - 5 years and have another 36 to donate.

But thankyou all for the compliments. I'm very un-photogenic...I usually shy away from the camera. But when I cut it again for donation, I'll use the video mode on my new camera.

Well....it's that time. I have an appointment today at 11 central time to get my hair cut. Again. I knew that short hair was high maintenance, but dang. It grows too fast. I'll post new pics. Maybe I'll get some red or blond highlights put into it. I dunno. But I do know I'm gonna go a bit shorter yet. It takes too much time in the mornings to get it gelled up in the mornings. Be back in a while with pics!

I had my long hair cut off in 2003 when I broke my arm, I don't know if there is a Locks for Love in UK. Is the hair used to make wigs for cancer patients?

What a great Idea.
I have my hair coloured with foils, blonde and red, next time, I am going for two tone blonde. I am going grey now. It was a long time coming but it really shows now.
I have my hair washed and blowed dried every week. It goes like a Brillo pad if I don't. (Brillo is wire wool). I have to keep it looking reasonable so I don't scare the customers! The hedgehog look doesn't look so good at my age!
I will ask my hairdresser if she knows about Locks for love.
